Crossroads Strategies Adds Two Experienced Democrats to Team
WASHINGTON – Bipartisan government relations firm Crossroads Strategies, LLC (CRS) welcomes Brittany Hernandez and Thomas (TJ) Lucas to its growing team today. Hernandez and Lucas bring extensive House and Senate relationships and experience in a variety of policy areas to CRS.

About Brittany Hernandez: Hernandez joins as Executive Vice President after serving as the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s head of policy and advocacy, where she was responsible for launching MDA’s government affairs operation and leading its work with Congress and the Executive Branch. She also managed federal government relations for the March of Dimes. A Memphis, Tennessee native, she spent eight years as a senior policy advisor to Representative Steve Cohen. Brittany received a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Memphis.
About TJ Lucas: Lucas joins as Vice President and will specialize in both authorization and appropriations advocacy in the U.S. Senate. For the past six years, he has held legislative positions in the office of U.S. Senator Joe Manchin. During his time with Senator Manchin, Lucas managed a variety of issues including appropriations, education, housing, health, labor and pensions. A lifelong West Virginian, he is a graduate of the University of Charleston with degrees in Public Policy, Political Science and History.
